In 1958 Prassad discovered a syndrome of dwarfism,hypogonadism and anaemia in Syndion in Egypt,all the cases were in the second decade of life.
In1963 Prassad discovered more cases with the previous syndrome at Elwady Elgedeed,he could prove that this syndrome was due to zinc deficiency .
